On Saturday, May 24, 2009 we had the HOLA commencement exercises to honor our new graduates. Congratulations to Tarik Belhouchet, Evan Northway, and Aaron Moser on their accomplishments. Thank you to Ms. Angela Ward for her motivational commencement address and to everyone in attendance for coming out to honor the HOLA students.

HOLA had a great night of food and fun at the Fourth Annual HOLA Silent Auction. Houston Outdoor Learning Academy is a non-traditional, experiential school for grades 6-12. The Spring 2009 Silent Auction raised funds for this year's spring trip to Guatemala and Belize. HOLA students have traveled all over the world including Peru, Kenya, China, and Costa Rica. Our trip in 2008 was to Vietnam.
